The Southern Region of Otis Elevator is seeking a highly motivated sales
representative to service the Tri-Cities area with reporting duties to
the Knoxville main office. This territory has a tremendous amount of
opportunity , current low market share offers substantial growth and
commission potential. Responsibilities include: sell service and
maintenance contracts at required price and margin levels to obtain new
units on Otis maintenance agreements; retain current Otis maintenance
agreements at required price and margin levels through good customer
service and selling on factors other than price; possess broad product
knowledge of all elevator/escalator lines and specialized architectural
product knowledge; make effective sales presentations; provide repair
estimating and estimates for all normal work; read/interpret Otis
architectural drawings; understand service contracts in broad terms;
develop service sales territory through customer contacts; maintain
up-to-date technical knowledge of Otis products; monitor collection of
accounts; actively support and participate in all OMMS initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree required. 4-7 years of sales experience preferred.
Candidate must also possess solid communication and leadership skills in
order to work effectively with customers and other Otis employees.
